The AJEV 2024 Awards already have finalists.
The Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Valencia is holding a new edition of its awards. The names of the winners will be announced on 7 November, at an event to be held at La Rambleta, a cutting-edge cultural centre located in the Bulevar Sur area of Valencia. The event will be attended by a large part of the Valencian business ecosystem.
The jury, which met yesterday, was formed by Paz Navarro, president of AJEV; Ana Vila, 1st vice-president of AJEV and president of AJE CV; Eva Blasco, president of CEV Valencia; Ángel Garrigós, director of Admissions and Marketing ESIC Valencia; Ramón Ferrandis, director of CEEI Valencia; Juan Gallur, director of Corporate Banking at Caixa Popular; Isabel Ferraz, territorial director of Valencia Albacete Mapfre; Jorge Linares, manager of Cámara Valencia and Fernando Valle, CEO of JR Valle.
This edition has 16 finalists from among the 38 candidatures presented and a new category has been introduced: Revelation Company. The finalists belong to a wide variety of sectors, all of them with the common factor that their leaders are no older than 45 years, their headquarters are in the province of Valencia and the company has a minimum of two years of experience.
In addition, this year there is a novelty: a new category will be awarded, that of Revelation Company, with which the aim is to give visibility and recognise companies that are no more than 3 years old and founded by people under 35 years of age.
‘Our awards showcase the great young entrepreneurial talent that exists in our province. Our young entrepreneurs deserve recognition for their daily efforts and their contribution to the progress of our society. This year we also want to recognise newer and younger companies, thus making their growth potential visible’, said Paz Navarro, President of AJEV.
After a complicated jury meeting due to the high level of nominations, the finalists for the AJEV 2024 Awards in each category are:
Cupra Innovation Award: Viraje, Grupo Cemalu and Skin Molecule X.
MAPFRE Social Impact and Equality Award: THE CORTEN, Exponentia and VIVA! Conversion
Cámara Valencia International Award: Peralta Vidavi, Hosper Profesional and The Fun Lab.
Caixa Popular Revelation Company Award: Anphis, Onklub and I2CON.
ESIC Employment Award: Vestel Ingenieros, Hundred and CASFID.
In the main category, the Young Entrepreneur of the Year, the jury selected a total of 5 leaders, ‘who are at the head of business projects with a very striking growth in the last two years and with great factors of innovation, employment and social impact, among others,’ explains Paz Navarro.
These finalists are:
Alberto Añaños, Live4Life
Alejandro González and Ezequiel Maldjian, Hundred
Joaquín Costa, Casfid
Sara Díez, Vestel Ingenieros
As is tradition in these awards, the winners will not be known until the day of the Gala, to maintain the maximum possible expectation until the end. According to the president of AJEV, ‘the AJEV Awards Gala has always stood out for being a fresh and different event, according to the young audience we are targeting, so we want to play a lot with the surprise factor to make the event as emotional as possible’.
Next Thursday 7th November at La Rambleta, the names of the 6 winners of this award will be announced. The event is sponsored by Cupra, Mapfre, Cámara Valencia, Caixa Popular, ESIC and Adooh Comunicación. Those interested in attending the gala can confirm attendance at www.ajevalencia.org
