MiraMao: New platform for local commerce in Maó

🚀 MiraMao: Maó's commerce platform, is already up and running!

This week we have started contacting the traders of Maó to boost local trade with an innovative digital platform that we are developing and that will facilitate the management of the catalogue of local shops and services, as part of the ‘Construimos Maó’ initiative. 🎉

🏆 So far we have achieved:

📬 Distribute more than 3000 flyers throughout the city to invite businesses to join MiraMao.

🤝 Meeting with the Merchants' Association and the Maó Town Council, strengthening strategic alliances.

👥 Getting numerous businesses already registered and ready to take advantage of all that the platform has to offer.

📱 The MiraMao platform will not only be an accessible digital showcase for locals and visitors, but will also provide geo-localised information, highlight the main features of the businesses and enable the promotion of local campaigns, events and initiatives.

One of the main objectives is to boost commercial dynamisation, as well as to improve the tourist experience in Maó. Shops will be able to benefit from all the advantages that European funds are earmarked for the sector, allowing traders to have this tool at no cost, and to better integrate into the commercial environment of the city.
